Around 95000 doctors wrote NEET PG exam conducted on November 23rd to December 6 .Today it is May 6 exactly 5 months over since exam is over..Still doctors are waiting for NEET .Usually PG courses start by may .There will be huge deficit of junior doctors due to delay in NEET results.Yesterday NEET UG exams are over for medical admission.Results of NEET UG will also be published only after NEET verdict.
NEET case TC(C)98/2012 hearings are over and verdict reserved.Supreme court summer vacation start on May 13 .So verdict is expected before May 13.
Now we can just analyze which all are possible dates for verdict .Possible days remaining are May 7,8,9 and 10. Final cause list for all these days published except for May 10.Only expectation is NEET case can be included in supplementary cause list which is usually published on day before.
If NEET case verdict is not given before May 13 PG courses can only be started in July.That will cause big delay in starting courses.So verdict is expected before holidays.Many sites and news papers had predicted the day of verdict as May 9.But no official confirmation is available on this matter.May 31st is the final date for PG admissions according to MCI regulation .This can be extended if court give an order.
